What we do

Our work is divided into projects

We deliver a spectrum of innovative support for children with disabilities or special health care needs in Uganda. We create an environment where they can flourish, develop meaningful relationships with the people they relate with and live more independent lives.

  • Under our community based outreach programs we seek out to assist families in the communities with medical, physiotherapy, speech and occupational therapy assessment. After a child is accessed and our services are required for the vulnerable groups we take them into the open arms of Dina Special Children Foundation to support them in the best way that we possibly can.

  • During our community visits, families that need to be assisted with economic empowerment are identified and trained under our economic empowerment program. Under this initiative, several soft skills are undertaken such as; baking, tailoring, crafts making among others.

  • Advocacy and lobbying has been taken on to share the issues affecting communities and families with disabled children with the arm of Government in charge. This is to mainly highlight the different challenges faced in these communities.
